Privacy Policy
At Nobiplace S.A. ("Nobiplace") we take our users' privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data, in compliance with Ecuador's Organic Law on the Protection of Personal Data (LOPDP, Official Gazette 459 of 26 May 2021) and its Regulations.
1. Data controller
The controller of your data is Nobiplace S.A., tax ID (RUC) 1793184567001, with registered office at Av. República del Salvador N36-84, Quito, Ecuador. You can reach our Data Protection Officer at privacy@nobiplace.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect identification data (name, surname, ID card or passport number), contact data (email, phone, address), financial data required for the service (bank account, source of funds) and browsing data (cookies, IP address, device type).
3. Purposes of processing
We process your data to manage your account and investment operations, comply with KYC/AML obligations set by Ecuador's Financial and Economic Analysis Unit (UAFE), send you Nobiplace's commercial communications, prevent fraud and meet judicial or regulatory requests.
4. Legal basis
The legal bases are the performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations (Securities Market Law, LOPDP, Organic Law for the Prevention of Money Laundering), legitimate interest and, where applicable, your explicit consent.
5. Retention
We keep your data for the entire duration of the contractual relationship and, once it ends, for a period of ten (10) years, as required by Ecuadorian anti-money-laundering and securities regulations.
6. Recipients
We may share your data with supervisory bodies (Superintendency of Companies, Securities and Insurance; UAFE; SRI), with technology providers acting as processors and with notaries and property registries, always under strict confidentiality obligations.
7. International transfers
Some of our technology providers (for example, cloud services) are located outside Ecuador. These transfers are made to countries with an adequate level of protection or under standard contractual clauses, in line with article 55 of the LOPDP.
8. Your rights
You may exercise the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction of processing by writing to privacy@nobiplace.com. You may also file a complaint with Ecuador's Personal Data Protection Authority.
9. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, annual penetration testing and ongoing training for our team.
10. Changes to the policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. The latest version will always be available at nobiplace.com/en/privacy-policy.
